34th edition / From 24th to 30th August, 2020 / Nantes and the Erdre river

The Rendez-vous de l’Erdre festival is one of the most atypical encounters between all different Jazz styles, and one of the most important meeting’s of heritage flagship boats. The festival welcomes over 150,000 visitors and takes place on the banks of the Erdre river and the « Nantes à Brest » Canal in 12 towns : Nantes, Guenrouët, Blain, Le Gâvre, Saffré, Nort-sur-Erdre, Petit-Mars, Sucé-sur-Erdre, La Chapelle-sur-Erdre, Carquefou, Saint-Mars-du-Désert and Les Touches.

With more than 130 concerts offering a new generation of artists interpreting different shapes of today’s Jazz music, the festival irrigates the territory during one week, with a spectacular final in Nantes around the floating stage.
The parading of 200 remarkable boats, and the regattas along the 28 km. of the river are ways of inviting the public to witness nautical heritage in exceptional surroundings.
